Similarities and Differences between the two movies
The central character in both the movies was Ripley. In Aliens, Ripley has been observed drifting through the space in the escape pod of Nostromo and is has been shown that she is not very aged. Though 57 years have passed on the earth but the Ripley’s age does not increases to the same significance. This is a big setback of the movie Aliens. Ripley in the movie has been shown as a bad mom who does not seem like the one in Alien (Arroyo, José, 2000). In Aliens, Ripley is a totally different kind of person which was depicted in Aliens. She has been depicted as an unpleasing woman. She does not seem to be a real person. The only survivor in the movie Alien, Ripley has been poorly characterized in the movie Aliens. Thus the lead actor (Ripley) has been widely changed in both the movies. While Ripley’s character in the Alien is memorable, the one in the Aliens is a washout.
