It was more attuned towards learning the smaller cultural differences between the elements and to make the people feel like they were part of the culture. This process was the primary objective of the course. These two exercises and the lesson plan that were developed was to help the student gain insights of some of the activities.
The students were encouraged to question and there was dialogue model that was used to teach the language. There was conversational model that was used to teach the language. The areas of strength were there was a great understanding of the issues that the bilingual students face in the real time environment. This helped in gaining empathy. The issue with teaching is that there should be more learnt in the language and there should be more deconstruction of the language. On introspection, it was found that there is a lot more to teaching that should be learnt.
