In the discussion of the council meeting, a number of methods for funding were analyzed. Some of the members in the meeting asked to organize the donation campaigns while some of them insisted on planning for a fund raiser event. However, all these methods were not useful on a regular basis. It was important to consider something that can be implemented easily and for a longer term. Donations were one of the methods through which the funding can be done for the Sequoia National Park. The people can be requested to give donations for maintenance of the park and to ensure that the park and the surrounding areas can be clean. According to NPS directors, order donation was considered to be an important method for getting funds (Merriman & O’connor, 1999). The donor registration was accepted by NPS in the form of endorsement done by any brand, business, product or the enterprise. The next step was to do the recognition of the donor as the official sponsor for the park or giving the naming rights to the donor for any NPS Facility, structure or feature in the park. Another method for funding was to go under collaboration with some universities or nearby schools that can launch some of the fundraisers or charitable events which can help in generation of funds for the Sequoia National Park.
