It is defined that the perception is the process in which the environmental information is selected and organized by the perceiver to develop meaningful experiences.

The correspondent inference theory developed by Edward Jones and Keith Davis implies that the people are able to learn about another person through the freely chosen behaviour. This implies that behaviours are not anticipated and results in limited outcomes of favourable nature (Sherman and Stroessner, 2015). Thus, it is suggested by this theory that three factors are applied by the individuals and managers as fundamental to the inferences.
