在我的中期主题思考中，我认识到领导力背景下思维的第一次变化之一是领导者的责任感。领导者是一个不仅要做出决定和引导他人的人，而且领导者还必须对他/她的行为和跟随者的行为承担责任。在课程中，我们研究了各种组织中可疑的做法和原因，这些做法不可避免地让我们思考实践的道德问题。我对领导力的看法已经改变。现在，我将领导者理解为一个实体，他不仅负责管理层的决策，而且对他们的决策如何影响组织内部和外部的不同利益相关者的整体理解。这并不是一个新的思路，因为我明白组织担心可持续性和其他措施，所以他们显然担心外部利益相关者。我学到的新东西是领导者/经理与外部利益相关者之间的联系。不知何故，了解组织及其对外部环境或生态系统或社区的影响与理解一个人掌握影响这种影响力的能力并不相同。我相信公司领导的角色确实很重。

In my mid subject reflection, one of the first changes in thinking in the context of leadership that I understood was the responsibility that goes into the making of the leader. The leader is a person who must not only make decisions and guide others, but the leader should also have to take up responsibility for both his/her actions and the actions of the followers. In the coursework, we studied about questionable practices and causes in various organizations which inevitably made us think about ethics of practices. My perspective on leadership has changed. Now I understand the leader as an entity who will be burdened with not just the managerial level decision making, but also the holistic understanding of how their decision affects different stakeholders, internal and external to the organization. This was not exactly a new line of thinking as I do understand that organizations worry about sustainability and other measures, so they are obviously worried about external stakeholders. The new thing I learnt was the connection between the leader/manager and the external stakeholder. Somehow reading about an organization and its impact on external environment or ecosystem or community is not the same as understanding one person to hold the power to influence this impact. I believe the role of a corporate leader is heavy indeed.
