The concert started in its full swing. It had opened with the acts by Bishop Briggs and Alessia Cara and Stargate. The first artists to perform were Bishop Briggs. He started off with divine rock rhythms and the audience loved Briggs powerful voice. The stage was taken up by Alessia Cara after Briggs. Her songs slowed down the energy of the rock concert. She sung the popular songs such as “Here” and the “Four Pink Walls”. She also explained the meaning which was there behind her lyrics. She explained that the meanings behind each of her lyrics were to grant insight into some of the millennial-generation values. She stated that the values such as self-love and acceptance had influenced her work to a large extent. The final opening act had been performed by the Production team, Stargate. This was not actually a live performance as they played the music videos of all the songs which had been performed by them. Their song selection was not liked by the viewers and the critics, as it could not completely fit the demographics of the audience. For example, the very first song which had been played by them was the explicit version of Wiz Khalifa’s song Black and Yellow. This song was an explicit song and should not be played in front of the numerous young children who were there as an audience.
