The principles of scientific management were set up by Taylor which brought a huge impact on manufacturing businesses. It impacted the thoughts of many business leaders of the era. The sign of Frederick Taylor’s theory of scientific management was a main breach in traditional way to the management procedure. At the same time, as management theory gained popularity, Taylor’s theory was highly condemned and its role reduced radically to the point that these days it is argued if the scientific management exists currently or not (Kenworthy & Sparks, 2016). It is not difficult to research some good instances of Scientific Management in current modern world. Taking an example of the car industry applying a similar technique together with the computer manufacturing plants also a few hospitals, majority of them function extra efficiently because of the use of Scientific Management (Langlois, Vytialingam & Aziz, 1999). By this essay an effort is made to detect if or to what extent Frederick Taylor’s theory of scientific management is still applied by management.
