From the moment I entered Rumba’s premises till the time I departed, every experience was worth remembering about its grandeur, facilities & services being offered, nearby natural attractions & localities, awesome food and dining, etc. All the information which has been provided in the official website stands very true in its nature and exists in practicality as well. I was very much astonished by the big Jacuzzi available in the resort and the glass bottomed pool was an awesome experience on the first day of my visit. Along with it, first time lunch in the resort was offered free and it contained the taste of then best Australian flavors available.
Honestly, I didn’t expect Rumba Beach resort to be a special one when compared to other best resorts in Queensland. But when I reached and stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights, my views got changed about the location. Firstly, I was very well welcomed by the receptionist and he handed me the key for my 1 bedroom spa. There were no hidden charges except from the deposit which was mentioned in the website. My suite comprised of a balcony view which was mind-boggling but the thing which I will remember forever is the spa provided within the rooms along with music playback on HD televisions. I never expected that these kinds of things can be present in the small vicinity of Caloundra. Jet skiing to Glasshouse Mountains was my favorite activity in Rumba. Another surprise to me was the evening carol recited by the local communities on the beach where they gather and perform on their traditional music and dances which was not mentioned anywhere and the experience was amazing. It is very pleasing to see that along with promoting sustainable tourism, Rumba is also taking care of the local communities residing within the area.
I would like to conclude that Rumba Beach Resort is worth visiting for at least 1 day & 1 night if anyone is on a tour to Queensland. The services being offered and the natural attractions surrounding the resort is definitely a must for tourists. Apart from the resort, dining in nearby restaurants can be regarded as food delights and the 90 minutes skiing in shoreline beaches have been an attraction for tourist.
