Journalists are the nerves of present day societies. For letting the journalistic work effectively and efficiently it is very important to analyze the contribution they are making in the development of the democratic society. A credible and ethical journalism is a key to informed and effective decisions by the common public against issues such as corruption and other sensitive issues in regards to the goodness of society as a whole (Deuze, 2005). If the journalist will not work effectively or will not present the real situation the root problems for under-development of the society remains as it is and the condition will only worsen day by day. A democratic society for up-keeping its vibrant nature alive has to promote participatory activities from all sections of the society including the journalists. Democracy in society only flourishes when journalists are able to provide the general public with crucial information with the help of which they can take informed decisions regarding the positions on economic, political and economic matters of the country and even on global front at times.
