Microsoft Corporation and Bill Gates have been chosen as the organization and the leader for this assignment respectively. The current generation and the following generation consider Bill Gates as an inspirational entrepreneur. The IT industry undergoes rapid and frequent upgrading process and modification compared to any other industry. Bill Gates is a software engineer and this expertise particularly helped him to become one of the most successful businessmen in the world. From his childhood, he was keenly interested in computer and programming at a very tender age he succeeded with writing his first programming.
Windows operating system is still the most used OS in the entire world. Most importantly, Microsoft brought digital solutions and software service at the most convenient and affordable rate than any company ever did before. Microsoft was not formed when IBM and Apple Macintosh were already in the business. After establishing the company, Microsoft went international by opening its branch in Japan in 1978. Bill Gates with his strategic mind managed to obtain prominence within no time in the US IT industry as well as in international IT industry. In 1981, MS DOS ruled as the sole operating system in the personal computers launched by IBM at the same time.
Between 1983 and 1990, Microsoft brought out the complete Office (Gates, 2013). The year 1985 marked the release of the first version of Windows and Windows 10 was released in 2015. Each version of Windows would be the milestones in the revolutionary progress of Microsoft along with its various product and service range. As a company, Microsoft is popular, profitable and prospect and the reason behind the company reaching the zenith of success are its founder, leader and pioneer Mr. Bill Gates.
