According to the response from the informant, the healthcare resources used inefficiently in Chinese public hospitals. As a result of tis, the patients like her has to come and go to the hospitals just for simple tests and checkups. If the hospital resources are used in a proper way, there will be no such uncomfortable issues for the patients. In this case, the patient was asked to take several tests and still the doctors were skeptical about the real issue.
This is another major issue causing the lack of efficiency of medical professional in the domestic public hospital in China. The resources like equipments, human resources etc are given less attention as well as used in an inefficient manner. This in turn is affecting the patient in an adverse way. They are not getting proper treatment. The health status of the patients in China is getting worse due to this situation. The allocation or use of the healthcare resources in China is not done properly as per the analysis. If there are right amount of equipments or staffs to look the cases of each patient, the diagnosis can be given at the right time. Without these facilities, the patients have to wait for a long time or they are otherwise asked to come and do the check up in the next time. For this, the patients are asked to take an appointment for another time.
With the analysis of the above figure, it can be noted that the Chinese public hospitals are showing a low result in terms of its patient care. The medical staffs are seen more inefficient and they are not showing proper responsibility towards the patients who consult them. This results in the low patient satisfaction. The public hospitals in China are in a higher and dominant position, when compared to the private hospitals. By the end of the year 2013, Chinese public hospitals began commercialization and more market oriented. The hospital operation has become more of a business for the respective hospital authorities rather than focusing on the patient care and satisfaction. This has lead to more patient dissatisfaction. The main reason for this is the inefficient use and allocation of the hospital respurces and no proper care given to them. As a result of this, the accessibility and convenience in availing treatment by the Chinese patients has lowered to a greater extend.
In this case of the informant also, due to the general trend of inefficiency of the skilled staffs in Chinese public hospital, she had to travel all the way to LA for treating her breast cancer.
