The people are still in a conundrum whether to incorporate English into the main stream education. There is fear towards loss of culture and the impact of western ideologies in the state. The English language teaching proponents argue that to survive in the current times, the need for English as a business language is imperative. They are now considered to be a part of the industrialization process (Zhang and Liu, 2014). The development of English is often alluded to be a part of the language development.
