Smartphone apps are notorious for distracting the user and already hundreds of people are losing their lives each year due to focusing more on their phone rather than what’s happening around them. With the Pokémon Go game taking players out on the street, the first and most alarming cons would be it will increase safety breaches considerably. Now in addition to social media and communication apps, the game would also bring players out on the streets which are likely to increase the number of accidents directly caused by the use of the game. There is also the aspect linked to time management where most working adults and parents will simply overlook the game. This is because they lack the time to pursue the Pokémon practically by travelling from place to place which makes the game unfriendly for a working adult.
