The report will discuss about the case study called Blackberry Hill Farm that is a farm in the south of England and its owner are Jim and Mandy Walker who happen to inherit the whole 200 hectare of farms 15 years ago. They started with producing small cereal growing operation along with small dairy herd (Slack et al, 2013). They also use to grow some vegetable and fruits. They started on a small level however sooner they realised that they have to rethink about the business and introduce something unique and different. They soon created a museum of farming heritage and introduced a concept of agree-tourism which promotes all sort of activities and attract range of people to come and visit the store on large scale (Phillip et al, 2010). They also introduced range of pet animals in the farm and build a mini farm which has all sorts of animals. They also invested in building in making preserving kitchen which proved to be most profitable investment for them. So the farm has introduced different concepts like preserving kitchen, farm shop, exhibits and petting zoo. Along with it they also introduced small playground dedicated for adventure specifically for children, a café serving soft drink and their own production, an area for picnic and a small bakery. They introduced various promotional strategies to attract more and more customers (Slack et al, 2013).
