Francis I was born in the year 1708 in France. Lived at the court of the Holy Roman emperor, Charles VI, he met Maria Theresa. His early childhood was spending in the court of Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI. He was married to Maria and was named as the grand duke of Tuscany. He was also a member of the Holy Roman Empire and he was given the title of Royal duke in the year 1279. He became the king after the death of his father in law in the year 1740. Though after his marriage with Maria Theresa, he didn’t live for long and died in the year 1765. He was helped by his wife to achieve the title of Holy Roman Emperor.
Francis I has 16 children which included the emperors Joseph II and Leopold II.
Philip II was the king of Span and was popularly known as the Philip of Prudent. He ruled one of the Largent empires of the world. The popular city of Philippines is named after him. His reign as a king of Spain began in the Golden days of Span. During his rule, there was great rise in the arts, culture and literature in Spain. At the end of his rule, he saw a great economic chaos in Spain including the disaster of Spain Armada. He was a person who loved music and art. The marks of the same can also be found at his palace which had the masterpieces of Escorial, just outside his palace. The reason for the failure of Philips II was his own wrong judgment and too much reliance on others advices. He died in the year 1598.
