Singapore airlines in current times are considered as one of the leading carriers internationally. It is a state owned company. In the 1970s as Malaysia established their own national carrier segment for flights in and out of the country and internationally the Malaysia-Singapore airlines venture was dissolved and it was during this time that Signore took charge of the Boeing, and the rest of the aircrafts and supplies was given to Malaysia along with cash as difference. Its strong marketing campaign, employee policies and more led to Singapore Airlines SIA increasing its passenger traffic by around 54 percent in 1975.
