The concept related to the metabolism evolved for the very first time in Japan. This was an attempt to deal with some of the after effects of the Second World War. The concept of Metabolism emerged for the very first time around the year 1970. The architecture of Metabolism was emerged for the first time in and around this time. This form of architecture had an impact from the western style. With the help of this western influence, Japanese tried to rebuild Japan for the purpose of accommodation of the population which was growing at a fast rate. Some of the major concepts which had been used by them was the concepts related Utopia and mega structures (Lin, 2010). Through, this concept, there had been a re-building of the better Japan in order to live up to the requirements of the creation of the real objects. Some of the other purposes included the pushing the limits of what actually architecture could have been. Also it included the creation of the possible solutions which were related to the societal, cultural and economic concerns. Because of the reconstruction of some of the different aspects related to the society, there had been influence of the popular culture.
