From the results, it can be clearly observed that the air quality is impacting the people in each and every zone near the tunnel areas (Larsson et al. 2007). The air quality near the tunnel areas was so bad that every person is infected from some or the other disease. It is very important that the government should implement proper measures for improving the air quality in these regions. One such measure which can be taken by the government is to create the tunnel ventilation system which can help in decreasing the pollution of near the tunnel. Some of the techniques which can be employed for this purpose include the passive ventilation technique and the mechanic ventilation technique. Another measure taken by the government included the improvement in the stack information and performance. The air quality can be further improved with the help of portal emissions. It is ensured that there should be zero portal emission by the people. The government should also implement measures so that there is a decrease in the fleet in the tunnels.
