Autosomal traits in Human are the characteristics which are linked to the 22 pairs of Autosomal chromosomes. Autosomal traits can be divided into two basic types: Dominant traits and Recessive traits. Dominant traits are the one which get exhibited in an individual’s body even when only one of the chromosomal pair carries it. Recessive traits get exhibited only when both the chromosomal pair carries the genes causing the trait. That is why dominant traits are more common in human than the recessive trait.
